Bun Runs
Our "bun runs" are a series of running courses that fellow members establish for other members to run. Treats such as bagels, doughnuts, or buns are offered by the host at the end of each run. Generally, members bring a $2 donation to cover the expense of the occasion. The run is typically a course of about 6 miles, more or less, which starts and ends at the host's home. No reservations or advanced notification is required for these events. Just show up at the host's door during the scheduled day ( a schedule is included with the newsletter ), and enjoy the company of other runners like yourself on a winter morning. Basically, bun runs begin at 9 a.m. at the host's home on Sunday mornings. Thanks to all the volunteers you have hosted a bun run |
